I'd like to see some town completely defund their public school district. The benefits would not be limited to academic achievement. You could cut property taxes by as much as 70%, and that would encourage businesses and residents to move in. Or you could spend the extra cash on things like infrastructure, libraries, parks/recreation centers, and first responders.
