Blank White Template

Blank White Template | Hey imgflip, I love the new draw setting to choose colors from picture! Keep up the good work! Although I noticed a new feature I'm confused about. When I try to post an image from my phone for a comment, it's marked as "save to your library", and I have to click off it or it won't post as a comment. Its no big deal, just an extra button to push, but usually if I want to save an image I just upload it as "use publicly" as a new template. Is my "library" separate from my meme templates? If so, how do I access them? | image tagged in blank white template | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

I didn’t have to click the library button with a stock image. So, I reckon it will be a new step when uploading images going forward.

What do you mean by stock image? Stock from imgflip? Every time I upload any image from my phone it does it...

Yes, templates that are already on imgflip.

OK. I'm finding myself uploading and creating a lot more new meme templates (as public) because I can't find the right ones in imgflip's stock. What is need to figure out is, if I click the button for my library, will it save it as one of my public "meme generator" templates, or does it save it in a separate, private collection. And if so, how do I access that?

Well, I found out the accessing the private templates part. That link that SilverTheShinyEevee posted in the first comment will get you there. And it is a separate private template spot. It just seems to be unnecessary to me. I would just keep private templates on my phone. Anyway, now to figure out how to post one of the private templates as a comment...

I wish some stuff was left alone. Another thing that gets me is they took away the button that hides all the editing boxes so you can see the finished piece before creating it. I sometimes have a bunch of small items and can’t see through all the resize frames how it all lines up. Now, I can sometimes get it to work if I click on the text box, but that doesn’t always work. Hurrumph!

I hear ya. You just have to find the right combo of taps to make the boxes go away. And sometimes that doesn't work. Sometimes its easier for me to put it together on my picsart app before uploading. You can do alot with that app, and it has a bit more letter fonts. But even that is limiting unless you start paying for more options. I still don't mess with AI though. Ill just keep making memes the "old fashioned" way...😄

I miss the old days, although I really like some of the updates over the years. I like to modify things to make them just right for whatever I want it to be. I don’t know if I’ll start using an app to do that, but it might be the better option. The other thing about the olden days, was you usually got more traffic seeing your work. Nowadays, I’d go and make a comment which might get an upvote. I wouldn’t mind if people laughed, but didn’t upvote, but I don’t think they’re even laughing. I’m too old and out of touch. 😁

Me too. I'm thinking about making a gen.X stream. Cause not everyone on here gets our humor. Don't know how many followers I'd get though...

If you make a gen X stream, will you tell better jokes?! 😉 and will you promise to keep boring kids off it? I'm already dreading summer when all of them get out on summer vacation and flood imgflip with nonsense.

Lol, I can't promise any of those.😄  If I knew a way that I could keep non-Gen X er's off the stream, that would be great.  Like maybe have them answer a few questions to prove their age to join.  Actually, they should do that with a lot of streams...  Anyway, I'm hoping that they wouldn't get the jokes so often that they wouldn't want to join.   I might try it out.  Imgflip def needs something for our generation.  I'm kinda interested to see how many of us there are still on here.  I'll let you know.  I've got a birthday coming up in May, maybe I'll start it then...

No, those are private templates. Check imgflip.com/my-templates?q=&;generator=&sort=latest&transparent=on .

I don't think I can copy and paste images. Just upload or download.

So, my library are my private templates? I don't have any of those. I save them as public, or not at all.
