A "Lake of fire" is fairly descriptive while the Bible tells us that eye has not seen nor ear heard" concerning what awaits those of us that trust in Jesus. There are many descriptive phrases concerning heaven: gates carved out of a single pearl, gem colored adornments, river flowing from the throne. Hollywood has been prolific in depicting evil, but I don't believe we can envision even the entirety of the horrors awaiting those that don't put their faith in Jesus.

You believe that and other people on Earth believe that, but trust me, nobody in Heaven or in Hell believes that.

Why should I trust you, are you in heaven or hell?

I believe the Bible, and I believe some (but not all) of the near-death experiences people have described where they went to heaven or hell are authentic. I also know that several people who have died in hospitals visibly reached up towards heaven or audibly screamed that they were starting to burn in hell. If you don't believe those things, I don't think there's anything else I can do.
