Love it...perfect!

I wonder how many of the kids understand the connection? With the liberal education today, they have been steered away from 'common sense'. Not their faults but I do blame parents who should know better.

I know you are aware of the educational standards prior to us and how they have consistently declined with time (our generation included). By the time our grandkids' kids go to school, they will barely be teaching anything close to what we learned as standards lower each year.

Indeed. They can't have us lowly non elites thinking our very own thoughts complete with our own reasoning abilities. Control becomes too much like work then.

Homeschooled students and private school students often outperform public school students. I would like to see some mayor/city council completely abolish the public school district in their town. That town can spend the money on other priorities and/or cut tax rates.

If enough cities get rid of their public school districts, it will lead to one of two outcomes:
A. Public schools will become completely obsolete, and private schools and/or homeschooling will become the norm rather than the exception.
B. Public schools will start raising standards again for fear of elimination.

Eithet way, we'll all be better off.

We would all be better off if public schools were completely empty for many reasons. They are one of the most insane soft targets for evil people determined to kill others. We do a better job protecting our banking institutions than we do our children. Our children are "graduating" unable to read at grade level if at all. Math "skills" are atrocious in many of the students as well. Idiocracy has now become more prophetic than comedic.
