Seriously, why are they like this

They're pissed off they're alone because no one wants to be with them, and the only companionship they can find takes 3 D cell batteries (and at some point realize they have to upgrade to rechargeables because batteries get expensive over time).

That's about the extent of it they let their best years pass them by, abort a baby or two and then start blaming men for their own decisions

You apparently feel called on to attack them as a class -- why shouldn't they distrust you as a class?

Because I haven’t actually done anything to them myself? I just don’t like being demonized for being different from them, that’s all.

Well, then you should be self-aware enough not to project onto all of them.
