That is decided by the users of imgflip… based solely on the number likes and views. The only way the mods can affect it is by either holding it suspended for a period of time before approval or by the mods deleting it for whatever the fvck reason they want.

This meme is misleading. Most US citizens renounce their citizenship because of tax reasons. They are US citizens living abroad.

It’s not misleading. Do not discount the fact that when Trump was elected for his second term, many liberals, notably Rosie O’Donnell and Ellen DeGeneres, left the country. Many others even vowed before the election to leave if Trump was elected again.
This is their golden opportunity to make it permanent.

Look up the history in detail. The cost was raised to cover costs. Neither Rosie O’Donnell or Ellen DeGeneres renouced their citizenship.

I know that those two did not renounce their citizenship. But for them and others it is now easier on the wallet, if they choose to do it.

$450 does not cover costs. This has nothing to do with the Left.

If you renounce your citizenship then you aren’t a U.S. citizen no matter where you live.
