Good question.
You can get it to call you really rude names and tell you to basically go f*ck yourself and curl up in a corner and die cos no one loves you and you're a pathetic loser, if you know how to jailbreak it. ππ
That's great fun.
I'm sure Hijo de Putin and his pals are already working on some evil rogue AIs as we speak, if they haven't already deployed them.
That's why we need to keep developing it β artists and Greta be damned.
Cat's outta the Pandora's bag now, folks. It's the new Manhattan Project and you may be on the wrong side of history. β’οΈ
Either we develop benevolent AI (or even sentient AI, if that's actually possible), or someone else makes one more evil than we could even conceive of. π
And, anyway, where were all these armchair haters moaning about water and electricity and stuff when we were trashing the planet in every way possible for decades along with using child labor to make cheap clothes for the West, and also tech, automation and offshoring was doing away with millions of people's livelihoods?
Crickets. π¦ Other than from environmentalists and professional activists, I guess.Β
Or maybe the average AI hater did make noise tbf but we didn't hear it coz we (ironically) didn't have the internet and antisocial media to rant about it, which also use up loads of resources lol.
(Maybe I just wasn't paying attention tbf, but funny how I don't remember anyone ever moaning to nearly this extent about how much water and power FB, YT, Google, Twitter or Insta, etc, use? π€
But now AI (aka LLMs) are the devil incarnate? Even if they do use a heckuva lot more tbf, but even that's not as cut-and-uh-wet as people claim and needs breaking down.)Β
Talk about epic irony and hypocrisy: going on social media in your comfy chair to rant about the planet and the evils of "AI", while also using tons of resources, on a smartphone made from a thousand parts mined, processed and shipped thousands of miles around the world thru just-in-time supply chains, globalization, colonial power imbalances, child labor with kids risking their lives mining precious metals in countries that often don't even see the profits, and a huge carbon footprint.
