So what your saying is that a business illegally hired a undocumented immigrant, paid them cash under the table, not only evading state employment tax, but federal, social security and Medicare tax, and then to turn around and let them spend cash in the United States that was exempt from taxes because the faithfully earned a wage from working in America as a illegal immigrant under the table? I for one have never been able to recoup the taxes paid to Medicare and social security, let alone making the amount of money inside my tax bracket to not underpay the government and actually receive a refund. The problem with illegal undocumented immigrants is that when businesses get involved hiring them, those business are the breaking the law and committing fraud. Back in the early 2000 people were so afraid of identity theft via illegal immigrants finding social security numbers, or copies of SS cards from places of employment. It's still a real thing today. That was why you never want to keep your SS card on you in case you lost your wallet or your wallet was stolen.... But today if you don't have a passport, I guess a drivers license, birth certificate, and ss card is not going to cut it if your light brown skinned..... Depending on the ice agent .... Idk I'm all for law and order, but disregarding legal papers, that's just wrong ... There is the right way and wrong way of doing things. If employers and schools could identify and report illegals then maybe ice would have a wiser job. It's a automatic report when a illegal files for state aid... So who knows.
