Sorry it took so long to get back to you but a "Brave" "Moderator" from the shadows blocked my comments for 24 hrs. 👿
Anyhow.....
You make a good point, and I WAS looking for names of African-Americans in the Revolutionary War (try to find their names or even the names of other non-high-ranking officers from then) and I considered adding Attucks.
The problem I have is that the Boston Massacre was pre-Revolution and the Americans were instigators. John Adams, the Massachusetts Representative to the Continental Congress and Future President, defended the British Soldiers in court as he thought that the civilians had been in the wrong.
A small point, but like the January 6 Rioters (Rioters NOT insurrectionists by a _*LONG Shot!*_ 👿) I believe, like John Adams, that it did not enhance the cause of Liberty so much as give it a Black Eye.
Just my opinion.
