Many nuclear fission plants are used not only on aircraft carriers, but on submarines and for generating power on a daily basis for ordinary civilians.
I hope someday we get nuclear fusion power plants. If nuclear fusion can be perfected, that would be great because nuclear fusion power plants will use much less fuel over time and there's zero risk of a meltdown.
