You seem to have cut the text off partway through.

Yes. An essay wasn't necessary, and I do my best to avoid that. I wish I could've cut it off earlier.
But you're welcome to check and see if the rest somehow contradicts the entire first part. That's the good thing with people using screenshot headlines and stuff - A neat appetizer and easier to find out than some random statement. You also get competing headlines in your search that way

But the numbers are numbers. A total tally is still a total tally.

Per capita, Luxembourg may have a higher GDP than the USA, that doesn't mean that Luxembourg is a richer country than the USA.

And when it comes to something like school shootings, well the usual demographic seems to be pretty exclusive, with some of those categories in your chart leaning more on the statistically negligent side in that activity.

I don't understand the U.S left's aversion of 'per capita'. Without it you get silly "duh" results like Japanese people in Japan commit more crime than foreigners. That makes statistics useless, and you don't get to do further research that could pin-point why a demographic is less or more successful than others and then at least try to equalize it.
Here In Denmark 'per capita' is mainstream, and we don't avoid it. Like during Covid lock down we used it militantly at the end to make public recommendations to groups or areas where the spread was particularly high.

I agree, you definitely don't understand it. Who do you think are the statisticians here, anti-education neckbeards?

Conservatives routinely not just avoid per capita figures, they're in denial of them. New York City is the most dangerous place in America, don't you know, because it's the biggest city. They forget New York City has a population that exceeds the populations of 39 US states, and per capita is the safest big city in America. It's even safer than London. And the way things have been going, London won't be the last stop in Europe where NYC surpasses cities in safety. Per capita.

I don't get it, hasn't the last decade been proof of what Europeans have been saying about Americans since there were Americans, none of it good? Hasn't what's happened since 2016 been a big-I-told-you-so for all the negative stereotypes you guys have of us? Hasn't it turned out after all this time that yes, you were right? Wasn't the only thing missing in the standard issue [blank] American uniform the MAGA hat?

It's like Fundamentalist Christian Conservatives with the only lines in the Bible they remember being John 3:16 I have Leviticus 20:13. The single only statistic on Earth Conservatives remember are that 51% of homicides are committed by 13% of the population. And I mean that quite literally. That's it. Earning a degree in stats down South consists of simply learning just that one single figure.
