We should put them on pay per view and use the money raised to help victims families and pay down the debt at the same time, and the money raised would give a gauge as to just how much the public feels about a particular crime.

The entire national debt and then some could’ve been paid off by pay-per-view of the OJ criminal trial. Millions of people watched that every day for weeks on end.

A lot of crime is copycat crime. When the news focuses on the crime and not the consequences, society gets more crime. News should focus on reporting who just got sent to prison for their crimes and how long they’re going away. The TV show COPS I think acted as a deterrent also. It showed consequences of being stupid.

Yeah, but then the word (drumroll please......) RACIST was rolled out and they had to stop filming because "people of color" were the most arrested (sob).

I mean, maybe that's because they were most guilty of certain crimes and if they only showed white arrests it'd have to have been aired once a quarter, maybe during ratings sweeps, but "people of color" are only allowed to be shown in a positive light on TV shows and characters (until Jesse Smollet claimed MAGA republicans rousted him in Chicago).

I'm still laughing due to the honesty of the two who were in on it, they didn't have to but I'm glad they did.
