Regardless of whether you believe she tried to run him down or not, she was still in the process of committing a crime.
The crime she was committing was impeding law enforcement with her vehicle while said law enforcement was in the process of doing their job, as they were instructed by the Federal Government.
ICE and other federal law enforcement were actively doing their job and it is a federal crime to impede them.
Should she have been shot to death? Who knows? You will probably make the claim she was just a peaceful protester who wanted to go home, but she was not. When you are told to step out of your vehicle because you are actively breaking the law, you step out of the vehicle. You don't try to drive off. She hit the officer and he took decisive (and appropriate) action.
