Journalists arrested for covering a peaceful protest; But tell me again how the 1st Amendment is 'safe'

First amendment, and or the Press shield does not allow you to CREATE the news.

So if I'm a "journalist", and I conspire with bank robbers knowing when and where they're going to hit, then enter the building with them to get a record of the events while interviewing the panicked customers, my "journalistic freedom" gives me a get out of jail free card because "I was just reporting on it"??

We're all journalists now. We can say or print or video anything we want. But we have only the same constitutional rights that everyone else has. No magic immunity from criminal prosecution.
