Let's see if you can spot the difference between those two pictures. No? Okay, I'll explain it to you. The people in the top photograph were pointing their guns at people, the guy in the bottom photograph is not pointing his gun at anybody.

Brandishing a weapon is a crime

The NRA guidelines for safe handling of firearms include the following fundamental rules:

- Always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction; never point a firearm at anything you do not intend to shoot.

- Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot; rest your finger on the trigger guard or along the side of the gun.

- Keep the gun unloaded until ready to use; engage the safety device if possible.

- Know your target and what is beyond; be aware of the area beyond your target.

- Never rely on the gun's mechanical safety device as a substitute for your own awareness and control.

And the really interesting part? The alleged liberal is the only person in the post exhibiting safe handling of a firearm. Of course, one may argue "cherrypicked" and that would generally be fair. However, referring to the clinching evidentiary video of the McCloskeys brandishing firearms most certainly tells the whole tale... and not in a manner favorable to arguments of "cherrypicking." If you get a moment -brandishing aside- watch the footage, count the number of times Frau McCloskey's line of fire sweeps across the back of Herr McCloskey's head.
