LOL . . . now try telling the actual rest of the story . . . for once: The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) stated that Pretti was armed with a 9-mm handgun during a crowd altercation with federal agents and was shot while "violently resisting" efforts to disarm him.

Now in the interests of full disclosure -- so that you can make up your own mind while being more or less informed: Video footage appears to show Pretti checking on a woman who had been pushed by agents. Local officials and residents noted that Pretti was a lawful gun owner with a valid permit and no criminal history.

Conclusion? When federal agents tell you to surrender during a crowd altercation you surrender . . . not resist. Just saying.

Depends on what he was reaching for beneath that pile. Maybe he got his hands on an agent's weapon. If he had not been breaking the law -- which is what he was doing by deliberately interfering in an ICE operation -- than nothing would have happened. It's interesting that the Political Left cannot grasp the concept of earned consequences.

He was fighting them. That's clearly visible in the video. He never stopped fighting them. All the arrogant leftist had to do was obey the law and then he would be alive today to spit on national values again.

There is no 'deserve'. This isn't a leftist fantasy of elementary school. It's a cut and dried example of survive or not survive.

Increasingly typical violent leftist agitators do not directly interfere with federal agents going about their lawful business; and then if they ARE stupid enough to do so, they surrender and obey when those agents tell them to or just begin the LEGAL subduing process. That's what it boils down to. They can be smart or be stupid. The choice of freedom or survival is theirs.

The video showed him on the ground fighting against the officers and apparently reaching for his gun or for one of theirs. He chose unwisely . . . but then again he was a leftist agitator. So no surprise there.

Protesting armed is probably a bad idea.
ICE is armed and dangerous. Shit happens when peaceful protest turns into in your face protesting.

Ice agents are already on edge. Local law enforcement should be assisting ICE to keep protester and agent safe.
