Yes. I know their whole narrative was falling apart as evidence kept piling up and reality was unavoidable. So then it was rebranded to "climate change".

Because the climate IS changing, and the effects are already noticeable, and they will get worse.

Like to eat chocolate? Bananas? Foods pollinated by bees? Concerned about what would happen if much of the Indian subcontinent ran out of fresh water and its population becomes pushed to emigrate? (And before that, the floods as those Himalayan glaciers release their stored water at an unpredictable but increasing rate?) Know anyone who has to buy homeowners' insurance in Florida, or another subtropical area? Concerned about Dengue and West Nile Virus moving north into new territory?

If the answer to any of those questions is YES, then you care about climate change.

Kinda weird how all those politicians who are oh-so-worried about "climate change" are always buying up beachfront real estate...

Don't you wonder why they would ever do such a thing, if they think those properties are in such dire peril?

Maybe because they aren't.

I'm not interested, for the purposes of this discussion, in whether politicians care about it in their personal lives. Consider that most politicians are older and wealthier, and so can afford to pay for insurance/repairs as well as not having to think about what will become of their beachfront real estate in 40 years. If everyone were over 50 and wealthy, climate change wouldn't hit the same way.
