Glacier National Park removes signs predicting end of glaciers in 2020 after Gore's prediction; Per the NOAA Arctic report card, here's how the Greenland ice sheet did in 2024: "The Greenland Ice Sheet lost 55 ± 35 Gt of mass in 2024, the lowest annual ice loss since 2013. This occurred due to above-average snowfall and below-average melting."; Temperatures didn't change either. "We report monthly mean air temperatures measured at weather stations in Greenland. Air temperatures observed over the 2024 mass balance year were close to the 1991-2020 average."; The 2025 report also found that the mass balance in the Greenland Ice Sheet showed "less loss than the 2003-24 annual average. "Above-average snowfall and below-average melt" contributed to "losing less mass this year."; Additionally, a study published in January 2026 found that "Prudhoe Dome, a 500-meter-thick ice cap on the northwestern Greenland ice sheet, was completely ice-free around 7,100 years ago with temperatures 3-5°C higher than they are today," per meteorologist Chris Martz. As he explains, it "goes to show that these processes can happen naturally without any anthropogenic influence." | image tagged in memes, blank transparent square | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

When I first started doing heating and air R-12 and R-22 were on the way out because they "harmed the ozone layer" and R-410 was brought in as a "safe" alternative. I was bitched at by a customer one day because I didn't have the 410 gauges and made a comment about why he was so on board with the new units and new freons, he yelled back "BECAUSE IT'S THE ENVIROMENTALLY CONCIOUS THING TO DO!!"

Fast forward 30 years and guess what? 410 is being phased out because it's bad for the enviroment. They were either wrong then or wrong now, or both.

Trust the science!! Trust the science!! Trust the science!! Oh, and the old standby "you're just a science denier!!"

Patten & Copyrights run out, the chemical co. just moves on to a new scam . And willing crooks in US gov. write new laws. Yea you got it.

Yeah, I remember hearing DuPont's patent had ran out and guess who had the patent on the new alternative? DuPont!! And who had a captive audience who had no choice but to switch to the new "environmentally safe" alternative? DuPont.

I'm sensing a pattern here .........

Here's another fact- 80% of the world was still using freon when they declared the hole in the ozone layer was "healed." Freon is a heavy compound, when there are leaks, or discharge it was a ground hugger, it never made it to the ozone layer.

They based it all on R-12 and gave it an ozone depletion potential of 1, on that scale R22 for home AC was a .02, they say it's because a CFC molecule is stable and can make it up to the upper atmosphere before being degraded into it's components, the Chlorine of which is the "killer" of ozone.

Fun fact however: Ozone is created daily by sunlight, when it is dark at night there is very little ozone overhead and so it stands to reason a place that is dark 6 months out of the year would have an "ozone hole", especially when the light it does get in antarctic summer is coming from a glancing angle, not directly on like at the equator.

If chlorine was such an evil bastard, why was it never banned from swimming pools? My guess is that they would have got the same type of pushback they got when word came out they wanted to ban charcoal grills. I remember reading a story in the mid-90's that there was more dollar value of illegal R-12 being smuggled across the Mexican border than there was drugs.

But government "experts" are always right, and the last thing someone wants to be accused of is being a "science denier" tsk tsk....

Forgot to add, more Chlorine has been released into the atmosphere by volcanoes over time than all the freons ever manufactured combined.

Upvoted both comment- twice the imgflip points for you! Chlorine is 100% natural. Methane seeps to the surface worldwide too. You can't fight Mother Nature.

Especially when I've been hearing for such a long time now that I need to "trust the science", and they had a hold on what was true and what wasn't, being the new "gods" among us, all knowing and all wise.

And yet they cant come down on an agreed viewpoint of whats the difference between a man and woman, you'd think they'd be right on top of that explaining biology and how every animal in the natural world is either male or female, but not humans appearantly.

They're probably just waiting on a huge government grant to research the subject.

The fatal flaw in "climate science" is that they put a dynamic system into a static model. The atmosphere is turbulent, not laminar. The idea that there is an average temperature for the planet, or a uniform concentration of CO2 are both scientifically absurd. I could go on.
Nice post They.
