Chzecky, the ATF targeted Weaver. They hounded him for months to cut down the barrel on a shotgun, even after he told to go get a hacksaw and do it themselves. After he did it in an attempt to get them to leave him alone, they arrested him and gave him the wrong court date, then went after him for contempt of court and failure to appear. They were shooting at his son when he shot back from their barn where he was trying to tend to their animals. His mother was standing behind a screen door watching as Randy tried to go to the aid of his 14 year old son, and they shot her with a baby in her arms. I thought they were only trying to punish Randy, not give his family the death penalty. Yeah, think about growing up fast.
