The reason is different, though. In the past Democrat racists did masked up so that they could not be revealed as racists. Today's ICE Agents mask up so that evil leftists cannot doxx them and put them and their family members at risk for revenge.

This enrages members of the left's collective of course since they live for doxxing people that their sick and twisted ideology and polices are directly opposed to . . . like officers actually enforcing the laws.

Then how come actual law-enforcement members don't put on masks when doing their job? It's because ice "agents" are untrained and unqualified cowards who just go around terrorizing people. They know what they are doing is illegal, and they are terrified of being punished for their crimes.
