It's a win-win situation. They don't want ICE agents doing their job and we're sick of their idiocracy. If they become their own country then ICE has no jurisdiction over them and they can invite all of the illegal aliens, Islamic terrorists, drug lords, gangs and child traffickers they want into their country.

We'll have to build a wall around Minnesota so that none of the crazies ever step foot in the United States ever again. And the National Guard and the US Border Patrol will have to strictly enforce that there be no border crossing into the US. They can go to Canada or any other country that will allow them in.

OR.......

All of the America hating idiots could stop hating America. Stop believing all of the lies the left says about America. America is not a perfect nation but it is no worse than every other nation that has existed or exists now. Deal with that fact and actually learn what freedom is all about. It is not found in socialism, fascism, nazism, communism or any other authoritarian regime.

Pink Floyd would lol if they saw your incredible misuse of their lyrics. After all, they are pro freedom, not fascism

I know. Roger Waters is a huge fan of socialism. I have never met the man and the only time I went to see Pink Floyd was after the band got back together without Waters but I think Waters is probably a full of himself prick. The fact that he kicked Rick Wright out of the band just prior to their last album with Waters in the band was enough. Plus the dude can't sing. In the studio they can make him sound good but live, Gilmour is clearly the better singer.

Fascism is just Giovanni Gentile's "improvement" of socialism. They are 99.9% exactly the same thing.

merriam-webster: "a populist political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual, that is associated with a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, and that is characterized by severe economic and social regimentation and by forcible suppression of opposition". To me this speaks of a tendency that can exist in either end of the spectrum. Dictatorship is what creates a system using fascistic methods, and the dictatorship can be left or right winged - doesn't change the fact that the power of the people is cut off in this kind of system.

That is how it has been redefined by the left. Basically fascism today is just a catch all word for anything the left hates. Fascism does not exist anywhere in the United States.

I read once that if you asked 100 different people what fascism means you would get 100 different answers.

I prefer to stick with the real and actual definition of fascism. I have no interest in what the left hates because they hate EVERYTHING!!!! They make stuff up all the time. If a conservative calls himself a patriot there is a leftist waiting to call him a nationalist. Patriotism and nationalism are not the same thing. The only nationalist country I can think of was Nazi Germany. Mussolini did not care about your race, all he cared about is if you were born in Italy.

The National Socialists German Workers Party (the English translation of the German acronym NAZI) were the only nationalist nation where country and race mattered a lot. I used to know a German woman who had been put into a concentration camp. Her parents immigrated from Germany to Mexico, where she was born. When she was college age she wanted to go to college in Germany. When she got to Germany the Nazis put her in a concentration camp. Even though he was 100% German her crime was being born in Mexico.

That is the extremism of nationalism. We have never ever had anything like that in the United States. But that does not stop the left of accusing people they hate of being nationalist.

Fascism was created by Giovanni Gentile and Benedetto Croce. Benito Mussolini, the dictator of Italy prior to and during WWII was a socialist who studied fascism and liked it.

Fascism let people who owned the farms and ran the business stay where they were. It still took ownership away from like socialism does but it left the people who already knew what they were doing in place. They just now were employees of the government and everything they produced belonged to the government.

THAT is fascism. The closest we have come to anything fascist today is what the World Economic Forum and the UN are trying to create. They want global fascist one world government. They have several large international businesses have aligned themselves with them. It is fascism but it is not exactly the same as Mussolini's fascism. Mussolini took over businesses, this new fascism has businesses volunteering to work with the global government.

BTW Not a conspiracy theory. You can read this on the WEF's and UN's website.

Yup, I'm sure most of the band members are pretty full of themselves in some way or another. It usually takes that kind of energy to become a superstar at all. You tell me when it comes to the individual differences. They did have some pretty interesting ideas though, and an ability to create. And then an anti fascism lyrical space, which I personally love.

I think you're right. I think it is rare to find anyone in the entertainment industry who hasn't gotten all full of themselves.

Several years ago, Dr Drew Pinsky, wrote a book about how narcissistic most people who get into the entertainment industry are. I never read his book I just heard him talk about it.

For all I know Gilmour might be just as full of himself as Waters. But really I am much less interested in their personal life. I doubt I'll ever meet any of Pink Floyd in person, nor do I really care to. I just listen to their music and that is just awesome with me.

Sounds interesting. And of course more than a little ironic, too, concerning Pinsky, but I guess that's one way of being self aware as a celebrity himself.

Listening is what matters. Godspeed
