Nick Shirley exposed day care center fraud in Minnesota. The centers created fake store fronts in such a way that would discourage new customers - in this case, by misspelling Learning in "Quality Learing Center". No one would send their kid to a Quality "Learing" Center. They knew that, they purposely misspelled it knowingly. And that's why it's funny. That's why it's the Word of the day.
