Actually he can take action up to a certain amount of time before congress has to approve funding. Helps if you read the constitution.

Legally, Trump has the upper hand in this case. Maduro will replay the arguments of Noriega. However, he presents an even weaker case on the merits under the controlling precedent than did Noriega.

The lefts stupid this was an illegal act argument ended months before it started. Not only was there already pending charges and orders for his capture but the military lawyers would have stopped the mission if it violated the UCMJ. Like always the left just hates the president so much they would scream if he gave them all a million dollars a free home and the EV of their choice.

When the people in Venezuela dance in the streets and the left protests they have lost the right to discuss this issue.
