Give New York, Illinois and Californiaweird time, they'll make it official. That would actually be fine by me, the whole idea of having 50 states is to let each one make thier own decisions about those things and see which system works best, but these days there's very little difference state to state because of the homogenization of federalism.

All the states have their own differences, but they're all part of the same unified country so of course there will be some similarities that apply to all of them
