Good parents do whatever it takes for their kids

Maybe if they raised their kid right in the first place.

Yes, it's a shame it has to get this bad. But, sometimes it's just the kid. I have a friend with 4 kids born in only 6 years. Three turned out fantastic. That second born one was a terror, drugs, in and out of jail, pregnant, two kids by different daddies, he had to sue her to get custody of his grandchildren and is raising them himself. They've turned out fantastic. That one child though ... sometimes there are anomalies that defy explanation.

Yes, it's sometimes the kid. Bad children are not always the product of bad parents.

But I applaud the parents in the picture above for caring more about getting results than about hurting their little boy's feelings. Sometimes hurting someone's feelings is the only way to make them a better person.

No doubt. The potential for embarrassment is a motivating factor to avoid putting yourself in that predicament.
