Ha! From my dealings with these critters they absolutely all think that they will each live forever, never age-out of their youthful existence and thinking and eventually die. Thinking themselves immortal -- KNOWING that they will live forever -- they treat life and politics like a one-upmanship game. Meh . . . but you are not wrong.
