Thank you for making this. There have been women hundreds of years ago who were able to earn other people's respect and were genuinely loved by their husbands, but they didn't brag about it.
Too many people forget that respect is something you have to earn, not something you can demand or instantly expect as soon as you enter a room full of strangers.
A hundred years ago vast majority of men and women believed in God and understood their God given duties as a spouse. I think the coming of Hollywood and all their stereotyping did a lot of damage to how a spouse is supposed to act and behave.
Even OG feminism wasn't about politics or liberation. It was about being a better wife, mother, and homemaker.
