Thank you all so much for expressing your takes on what should be done regarding my situation with Flick and Shinobii. I asked everyone whether they should stay banned or if they should be let back into the stream, and a majority of you guys said "Let them stay". Very well! Looking back at some of my actions in the fight, I now understand that I was no better in the situation. So I want to apologize to the following people:; - Flick, for fighting with you over your religion and your political views, banning you too many times, and trying to keep you away. - Shinobii, for banning you when you barely had any connection to the fight. I was just scared you were going to harass me further if I let things slide. - Iceu, for mod abusing, if I really was doing that. I didn't mean any harm to the twins, but I know I could've done better and should've. Once again, thank you guys for expressing your thoughts. I took the time to read all of them, and clearly most of you want Flick and Shinobii to return. For those who commented that they want them to be banned for good, I promise you that Flick and I are on better terms now. There will also be a new rule added: No bigotry. This means that any kind of hatred (homophobia, racism, ableism, etc.) will not be tolerated in the stream. No matter your beliefs, it should be common sense for us to treat each other with dignity and respect. Like I said, I'm very sorry for all the hurt I caused. Going into 2026, I promise to be more careful and nuanced when moderating the sub. Flick and Shinobii, you will always be welcome to the stream for as long as you're on the website. I wrote four paragraphs in answer to your poll 7 hours ago and then clicked to post it. I found the comments had been disabled (due to the polling being so in favor of Flick & Shinobii).

I was writing in support of them as well. I did this in the name of free speech and pointed out the importance of not censoring thoughts or ideas just because they do not align with one's own.

I now want to congratulate you having navigated to the correct solution. You handled this situation by reviewing your actions and apologizing, Swampy.

That tells me a lot about you....choosing to be very adult in your reaction to the situation. I am way older than you and can tell you there are many older people who do not know how to say 'I was wrong' or 'I am sorry'. So, kudos to you on that navigation!

Oh, Iceu is a very exceptional young person, wise well beyond his years. I had followed him for a long time but just found out last year that he is a 'young' man which really amazed me.

We need more role models like Iceu in young people's lives. I do know Flick is a good guy and I can say he is well worth listening to (I don't know Shinobii too well but he probably shares a lot of the same values as his brother).

Glad you had an epiphany, Swampy, and I do respect the way you brought it full circle.
