Yes and that number could be greatly reduced by blue cities like Chicago being tougher on crime and enforcing the law. The handgun murder problem is located almost entirely in blue cities. You have more chance of being struck by lightning than murdered with a long gun statistically.

Wrong, as usual. Besides cherry picking a stat for your purpose you’re absolutely wrong. Several states have higher rates. As to actual numbers of gun murders Alaska isn’t even in the top 20.

He didn’t say he was ok with gun deaths. He accepted that the price for the 2nd amendment meant some deaths just as the price for driving vehicles resulted in some deaths.
