I was today years old when I found out about this. This intrigued me because his dad is a super duper whack job liberal. The kind that that if Trump said the sky was blue and you took Martin out of his house on a bright sunny day he would say it was green, just because Trump said it was blue.

This is the problem with having such an unhinged and irrational hatred of liberals, that you take whatever they say and think the opposite is true even if it's something you would actually agree with. You don't even stop to think about it. It's just a knee jerk reaction to hate whatever they say is good and vice versa

I purposely left any political side out of this meme. It was meant for everyone. Family and friends should always have a much higher priority over politics. Politics makes you hate people but you family you should always love.

The only exception is families where abuse occurs. My father-in-law verbally abused my wife most of her life. She doesn't have to love him because it is clear that he didn't love his own daughter. She doesn't have to worry about it these days. Her mother passed away about 20 years ago and her father died in a car wreck over 10 years ago. Her siblings are scattered all over the country and one even immigrated to Mexico.

I don't think anyone should have to put up with abuse of any kind.

But if someone comes from a perfectly loving family and they grew up with a different political opinion than their parents. And they refuse to associate with their parents because of that then they need a very huge massive does of get-over-yourself. Love is far more important than any political opinion. Hating your parents because of politics is not going to change the world but actually loving your parents will change their world.

And when it comes down to it, if you want to make a better world, the ONLY way we can do that is by making ourselves better people. Lead by example, not browbeating or hating people. You cannot force anyone to change. If you want a world with more love in it, then be that person who loves everyone. If you want a world with more hate in it then just keep hating people with different opinions than yourself.

Perhaps you might want to go positive rather than negative. There were several of the early immigrants from Europe that established great relations with the native Americans. In fact the lives of many of the early settlers were saved by the natives. The settlers would have starved to death otherwise.

I am not saying ignore the bad because there's plenty of that to go around but there is also a whole lot of good that everyone wants to overlook. And the good outweighs the bad.

There is just far too much about U.S. history that they are not teaching anymore. You don't understand that the good that happened in this country far outweighs the bad. And that includes the native American genocide, slavery, the genocide of the unborn, the left's persistent protection of human trafficking and soon a lot of Democrat billionaires and politicians will be exposed for visiting Epstein's Rape Island.

But despite the left's best efforts to fundamentally transform the United States of America into a Marxist nation, we remain the freest nation on the planet and that's only because global leftists are killing freedom everywhere else faster than here.

Freedom is such a precious gift but in the history of mankind only about 5% of everyone who lived, and lives now have ever known any kind of freedom.

And hey. We stopped enslaving Africans and stopped killing native Americans a century and a half ago and we had to fight the Democrats every step of the way to do that.
