You're right. One thing we need to know is who started it. That would be Ted Turner who was a 1960s socialist and later an UN supporting globalist. Believe it or not there was a brief moment the UN almost went broke until Turner 'donated' 1 billion dollars to basically bail them out.
Thing is, I don't think liberals are "blissfully ignorant". They are in fact, horribly misinformed and having anxiety attacks every day over the fake news they keep watching.
