They aren't upholding laws. They judge individual cases and don't have authority outside their jurisdictions. If I were Trump, every time one of these judges ruled stopping something, I would stop in their jurisdiction and keep doing it everywhere else while appealing.

Federal judges are, by definition, federal judges. That is the law. Their job and duty is to uphold the law.
