Maybe the parents are just being cautious, what with ICE hooligans gassing babies and arresting citizens and deporting without due process and all. If I was a parent where the ICE animals were operating I'd keep my kids home too.

Arrest them for what? You don't even know if they're illegally here or not. And you can't deport people who are US citizens. Even if their parents are here illegally the children who were born here are citizens and cannot be deported. So basically you want to violate people's rights and ignore the constitution. "Get the addresses" means that an investigation into those absentees to see who are in America illegally... will swiftly follow! I am betting that 99.99% of those who stayed home are here illegally.
