That headline from the Daily Mail was written for the leftists.
Because leftists are just stupid enough to believe this without ever thinking about it.
Bongino was a NYC cop and he worked in the Secret Service working directly with protecting presidents. He had to go through an intensive background check just for those two jobs alone.
At each agency he has worked for required a background check and his job with the FBI was not different. But even IF he didn't have a background check for the FBI, he clearly has gone through intensive background checks to be a cop and to work for the secret service.
Such an idiotic news story. What do the Brits care if Bongino had a background check. (for anyone who might not know, the Daily Mail is a news paper based in England)
