Isn't ironic the demonrats always scream about a socialist utopia where the benevolent guvment gives them everything and at the same time they support the thieves that leach the nations treasury, so socialism is impossible.
I think that might have to do with the Cloward–Piven strategy developed by those nation-hating leftist professors decades ago in which one deliberately overwhelms the nation's welfare system in order to bring the nation to its knees and then RAM socialism into place. Of course after that the new rulers would immediately deport all the useful parasites who aided their rise to absolute power and control.
The entire hinge pin principle behind propaganda is that the majority of people are easily manipulated. The odd thing about it is that it does not depend on stupidity or a lack of education for efficacy. The reasonably intelligent and well-educated are just as often manipulable.
So what are the common factors in seeing through propaganda? A willingness to think -- and therefore research -- independently and . . . simple old-fashioned common sense coupled to a good knowledge of history.
They sell their souls to whoever promises them free things. Worse they were the "let's party" kids in schools that spread the drug abuse as being cool. They hate themselves and everyone around them.
