Trump is upgrading a bunker and pretending to build a ballroom

Looks just like the Trump ballroom model.

I don't think it's that deep. There's been no archetechual plans submitted for permits, etc. No firm has come forward to say "yeah, we've been working on this for a few months now" etc. There's was no winterizing to fill the big hole in the side of the building. No security considerations for his protection by the Secret Service.

Here's what I think happened- 2 days before he demolished the East Wing, there was the No Kings Protest. The largest single day protest in our history. It was was a protest against HIM specifically.

He knocked it down in a childish temper tantrum. He destroyed part of an historic house because his feelings were hurt.

Hmm, maybe. Or maybe it's like Rachel Maddow suggested...he waited until after No King's Day because more people would have marched if he did it beforehand. We need about 10million to march in order to meet that 3.5% of the population which is a marker for the amount it takes to topple a regime. We had 7 million this October. I bet we hit that historical measure next time..

Also, remember when he was up on the roof this summer and it confused journalists? Perhaps he was surveying with planners of the ballroom. Perhaps it's about making up an excuse to refurbish the nuclear bunker underneath.

He loves to get us angry with Nazi connections. Likes to seed anger and chaos. Making us think of Hitler (who also built a bunker under his ballroom) he is just watering that seed of chaos.

Regardless, it was the last straw for me.
