I've talked to real Furries(and practitioners of BDSM). One guess on how they feel about their kink being used for political motives.

I don't think these costumes have anything to do with anything. They are non-sequiturs within a non-sequitur protest movement. Vague words like "fascist" and "tyrant." Nothing specific. They won't say why they hate President Trump. People interviewed say he's not a king, but then you see protest signs with him wearing a crown. It is clearly concocted and not grass-roots. Many of the signs look alike, and protesters repeat the same phrases.

That's the whole point. They weren't dressed up as werewolves on roids, grimacing at the aspect of King Don Don. They dressed that way all in good fun. That's why they were smiling. Remember, this isn't MAGA, nor their Antifa brethren, these are people who actually like life.
