That Honest Abe ,The Great Emancipator-Lincoln created the First Thanksgiving during the U.S. Civil War as a holiday to celebrate the North colonial origination story, to give Union Soldier families something to be thankful for,

...yet Mayflower and 1620 landing on that Rock in Plymouth is a replacement Northern origination story, as it was 13 years after the establishment of
Jamestown, Virginia. The first continuous settlement in what became the English Colonies.

Maybe The Original Republicans wanted to belittle Virginia for seceding,
by bringing that Commonwealth down a few rungs on the historical significance ladder ?

A-maize-ing!

Rage baiting?!? The right are not as wimpy as the leftist fragile sensibility.

Leftist try very real hard to own the right. Always comes of smug and annoying.

Conservatives got upset about beer. They got upset about M&Ms. They got upset about the Cracker Barrel logo. They got upset about library books. They got upset about people reading library books to children. They got upset about movies with black characters. They got upset about movies with gay characters. They got upset about movies with transgender characters. They get upset whenever a Muslim is elected to office. They get upset whenever conservatives are arrested for breaking the law. Everything offends them.

As If....

That is one very narrow way of looking at such,
as if this were unreasonable responses for Conservatives
to motivated and calculated, radical and extremist actions

So the Political Left is saying that giving thanks in general to the very nation and system and policies that have made it possible for them to eat the finest foods, live in the best homes, drive quality cars, have the latest personal computers, and wear the best clothing while living in general freedom . . . is somehow a bad thing?

Is this hatred from the Political Left's collective because credit for all of that is NOT being given to Communism and to Karl Marx instead?

Trying to be politically neutral here when I say the following:

Well, the meme's objectively wrong. If it exists, there HAS to be a "first" of it. The first Christmas, the first Hanukah, the first Veteran's Day, everything has a "first", even if the details were forgotten or if the "first" is unrecognizable compared to what it is now.

There was a first thanksgiving but it was a lot different then the story we tell around the dinner table. That's what I'm trying to say, the First Thanksgiving as we know it never happened

To be fair, a lot of "historical facts" as we know them are blatantly false, such as how white people supposedly went out of their way to catch slaves from Afrika, while in reality white people simply bought them from African slavers. Still horrible, but the facts show that no race is truly blameless when it comes to slavery, nor is there a race that's not been victimized by it.
