That's good. I thought law enforcement had an alliance to protect other law enforcement personnel no matter the classification.

They do . . .or, that is, they DID. But introducing leftists into any tradition is an automatic way to destroy that tradition. More to the point though it may actually be a LAW that LEOS must -- if at all possible -- render aid to other LEOs who are in danger. I'm not sure about that though.

If it is a law action should be taken. Because ICE is as valuable as any other law enforcement officers or agencies.

The Chicago police were on their way to help the ICE when they got the order. I think the person responsible for the order is more culpable. Remember as an officer you are told to follow orders.
My City did a stand down order during the riots in 2029, so I know how detrimental an order like that can be.

I agree whoever put out the order is more culpable. The Nazi defense about just following orders doesn’t work well if those agents had been overwhelmed and murdered or injured. I get that puts you in a difficult position and subject to insubordination claims, but where’s the line. Open fire on ICE agents because you were ordered to? Standby as they are murdered?

I would never want to see anything like that happen to anyone. And I don't believe the officers did the right thing. I was just trying to put it in another perspective, because none of the officers gave the order.
And you heard the police chief saying that something about it was misunderstood, just so you can see how he doesn't want to take responsibility. Even with the order that can be seen.

I get you, I just think the officers have to start standing for what’s right as a group. Even if it is after the fact. The leaders can’t mislead them if they all refuse to be led by traitors who leave their brothers hanging at the hands of the mob.
