For some weird reason the Political Left hates it when what goes around comes around.

The left has zero self-awareness, and zero ability to read the room.

And they can't meme, either. And no sense of humor... and...

And yet STILL they . . . lie. The amusing part is that they honestly thought that the average citizen would never wise up to the fact that lying is the mainstay of their toxic ideology.

Gallup reported: When Gallup began measuring trust in the news media in the 1970s, between 68% and 72% of Americans expressed confidence in reporting. However, by the next reading in 1997, public confidence had fallen to 53%. Media trust remained just above 50% until it dropped to 44% in 2004, and it has not risen to the majority level since. The highest reading in the past decade was 45% in 2018, which came just two years after confidence had collapsed amid the divisive 2016 presidential campaign.

Republican’s trust in mass media is at 8% today.

Democrat’s trust in the mass media is at 51% today, barely a majority.

A poll back by Gallup and the Knight Foundation in 2023 found that only 26% of American’s view the news media favorably. 50% of respondents believe the mainstream media intends to mislead and misinform the public.

A 2021 report found that the US ranks dead last in media trust in polling of 46 different countries.

The poll was taken during the COVID epidemic when people trusted the media only later to find out that most everything they were told was complete fake news.

Not surprisingly, the MSM is over 92% liberal biased - Harvard Media...

Setting aside the political narrative confirmation-bias factor in play for every living breathing leftist media outlet Kool-Aid gulper, I think the main thing is that conservatives innately think for themselves and even people who are just mainstream Republican tend to verify 'news' reporting with outside sources. All this means is that conservatives and -- to a lesser extent -- Republicans are more likely to be AWARE of leftist media lies than are sheeple-like leftists.

Yes, leftists apparently adore being lied to by their leadership and their media outlets anyway, but also most of them are probably still unaware that nearly everything they receive by way of 'news' from their media outlets is a lie to one extent or the other.

Yep and these media outlets -- thinking that they could substitute leftist political propaganda for the actual facts-based news -- plowed their reputations and audience shares right into the ground -- while having been warned by their own researchers that this was happening WHILE they were eagerly doing it.
