yeah, it's gotta be really stressful for y'all being dead-ass wrong all the time and we're there... pointing it out and saying "we told you that would happen."

What things?

Most of the conservatives here are driven by emotions. They stay stuff that is just plain wrong and when you give them the facts they say the facts are wrong and that you're stupid. There not rational at all. They want their emotions over truth because it's more comfortable to live in a delusion.

What do they say thats wrong, and what facts do you use?

One example was a user talking about religion. I pointed out that many atheists know the Bible better than many Christian's. He said I was wrong so I posted a survey that proved it. He whined and said the data was wrong and blah blah blah. He never gave any evidence that he was right. None.

A couple of days ago another one insisted that prices were going down and shrinkflation was a thing of the past.

Well some prices have come down, especially in red states. Not all though, some are still up.

Yes, egg prices have come down here in Muh'Merica. That's it.

Most products in Red States come through Blue States first, either from manufacture/process and/or distribution. Prices did not come down especially in them.

You guys need to familiarize yourselves with how things work in America. This isn't a tiny country where a significant amount of goods are processed right there in the village. Check out how many plain raw vegetables - raw, not in any way processed - pass through Hunts Point in the Bronx en route to the rest of the US. Most of America isn't Lancaster with some roadside stand selling Amish corn and pickles.

And that pattern goes back to the Colonial Era. There's a reason why rural states have always been rural states. And funding for the more prosperous states getting funneled into those rural states was actually a big reason behind the Civil War.

Exactly while the southern states did do big cash crops most of them did nothing else and the real money was in the north Maryland and above with ship building and weapon making and textiles

Yeah all throughout history it’s just been the northern or blue states funding and helping to provide for the red states
