You got that right. Back when I was in the military it was not uncommon to see black troops with shaving waivers. They were still required to keep their beards as short as possible. Nobody minded as the affected troops still maintained an overall military appearance. Methinks Hegseth is just using this as a lame excuse to disrespect black troops.
