In a letter addressed to the FBI, Boelter claimed that Governor Walz instructed him to kill multiple officials, especially Klobuchar, to allow Walz to run for her Senate seat. The letter was left in a car that Boelter had deserted near his house, along with his confession to shooting the Hortmans and Hoffmans.
