Power output of wind turbines is unpredictable and inconsistent. That makes it unreliable without massive battery back up. To be totally reliant on wind power, and/or solar would require generating capacity of at least three times the need and battery back up of three times the need. How expensive is that??? How practical is it to have all those windmills and solar farms on cropland?
As the STUPID leftist politician ruining -- er -- running California recently discovered after their anti-business decisions shut down oil refineries in that state green energy isn't either adequate nor cost effective enough to run their remaining industries.
