Yes, all parents should be there for their kids. Both of my parents were always there for me and I am so thankful for that. If you don't raise your kids, someone else will and you might not like the results.

We know a few people who have that relationship and it seems to work well for them. I'm not saying that they make $12M, but they have comfortable salaries.
