Me when I have no idea that most of Scotland votes left wing and the Scottish Independence Party is more left wing than the Labour Party

All meaningful political change starts at the grass roots level and usually against the full might and power of the government entities and agents in charge.

Me when I have absolutely zero understanding of British political history and haven't yet internalized the fact that Scotland is more left wing than the rest of the UK (Free university, 7 out of 73 seats currently predicted to go to right wing parties)
