Weird that nary a single Imgflipper leftist howled about paying down the national debt during the four years of misrule by Dementia Joe Biden and his handlers. So I guess it's politically situational with them.

Conservatives on the other hand are ALWAYS interested in paying down the debt regardless of which party is in power.

True. But it's better than Democrats campaigning ON increasing spending and taxes.
It's a give and take and Democrats are experts at taking.

What? So it's true that Republican administrations are greater contributors to the national debt, but that's better than Democrats being lesser contributors to the national debt? You don't make any sense.

What I'm saying is both parties are contribute to the debt, but for the last 3 elections, Democrat campaigns have promised to increase taxes and spending.
Republicans failed in their promises not to, for sure, but you can't blame people for at least selecting the person that said they weren't going to increase taxes.
You can point the fingers at Republicans all you want but your side isn't innocent just because you're graping the economy slightly fewer times then Republicans are

That's not what this graph is about. This data is agnostic of political parties' contributions to the debt. This graph is showing you that Trump ALONE is a 1/3 contributor of the debt accrued during this nation's entire history.

I said what I said, and what I said it true.
You memed what you memed and your meme is a theory about 10 years in the future.
Your side is pointing fingers at Trump for graping the ecnonomy after they juts got finished graping the economy.

The current fiscal year 2025 began in October 2024. The current budget deficit belongs to Biden, not Trump. Congress was negligent in passing a budget before the fiscal year began in 2024. They kicked the can down the road by passing continuing resolutions on the budget.

Trump was previously president, as you may recall. This graph reflects that. And the 10 year projection includes the spending bill congress passed this year, with Trump being president again.
