While the average Dem Party voter was not a Jew hater the Party's elites always were. When Jews-hating Barack Obama became president and pretty much openly spat on Israel this gave the Party's elites validation and then the green-light to spread their hatred downward throughout the Party. Like an infection it is now deeply entrenched and wide spread.
