Man you are ignorant. She put the dog down because the dog attacked and killed her neighbor's chickens. Go look up the laws regarding destroying someone else's livestock.

You're the one who's ignorant. She obviously didn't train her dog well. The dog also wasn't properly restrained. Go look up the laws regarding pet owner responsibility.

Noem compesated the owners of the chickens that were killed. When Cricket, the dog in question, turned aggressively toward Noem WHEN NOEM TRIED TO CORRECT THE DOG, Noem decided it was time for the dog to be destroyed, and rightfully so. It was only a matter of time before Cricket attacked one of Noem's kids, or someone else if put up for adoption.

A little too late to try to correct a dog. Noem has no one to blame but herself.

Blame herself for what? For the dog being too aggressive? When is the point you would put an aggressive dog down? Before or after it has attacked a kid?

Train the dog. Keep it properly restrained. Keep it away from all situations where its aggressiveness might be a problem. The owner is ultimately responsible. Who else would be to blame?
