The federal government cannot and should not expand to other cities. I want lower crime to but not at the expense of giving control to the federal government.

Unfortunately there is no other options. There are only two main reasons authorities allow criminals to operate freely: fear or bribery. If it is fear, that can be fixed with an increase in law enforcement. If the so-called authorities are taking bribes, that can be fixed with an increase in outside law enforcement, and arrests of both the criminals and the bribed officials. If criminals are paying bribes and still get arrested they will drop dimes on who they paid.

it sounds like we have a ton of options: one of them being just enforce the anti-bribery laws we already have. We could also easily encourage cities to incentive police recruitment. Heck there are private charities that hold all kinds of benefit events for local law enforcement. There are a ton of options that don't involve giving more power and control to the federal government.

Right now that is not an option. I also fear an all powerful government, but I am also a realist. Without funding and training only an existing force can rapidly deploy and fix the issue. Giving additional funding to the people who have done nothing to solve the problem is not an option. Replacing democrats with outside leadership is all we currently have.

Do you believe the Federal government should have boundaries and limits?

Yes, and limits on how long they can act. Like limits on the NG and feds time policing in a single city.
